Orangetown Police: 2 Nyack Men Charged With Stealing Cigarettes NYACK, N.Y. -- Two Nyack men are facing felony robbery charges after they were accused of stealing cigarettes from a village convenience store, according to police. Andy Tassy, 43, and Laron Musgrove, 31, were arrested about 5 a.m. Friday, according to police. The men are accused of entering the store and stealing "numerous packs of cigarettes," police said. Police reported no significant injuries as a result of the robbery. Mr. Brewster Competition Raises $27,000 For Cystic Fibrosis Foundation BREWSTER, N.Y. -- Brewster High School's SALTY Hands Club recently hosted the fifth annual Mr. Brewster Spectacular, raising $27,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, according to the district.The March 4 event allowed 14 male seniors to compete. The winner was determined by a combination of how much money the students raised for the Foundation and their performance on the night on the contest, the district said.
