Bandit Is The SPCA Of Westchester's Pet Of The Week
BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Bandit, a 2-year-old dog described as "ridiculously adorable," has been named the SPCA of Westchester's Pet of the Week.
Possessing a smile "that will brighten one lucky adopter's every day," Bandit was said to be energetic, friendly and smart, according to the SPCA, which said he ought to do quite well with a bit of training.
Though he's been socialized, Bandit would prefer to be the only dog in his forever home, according to the SPCA, which said that he would excel in a home with children older than 16.

Harrison's Magee, Head Of NY's Most Powerful Teachers' Union, To Step Down
The head of New York's most powerful teachers' union said Tuesday that she will step down from her post in April as head of NYSUT, which has 600,000 members.
Karen Magee, who once served as head of the Harrison teachers' union in Westchester, said she intends to lead efforts made by other unions to strengthen the role of women in the workplace, according to lohud.com.
Magee, 57, was elected to lead the 600,000-member union in April 2014. More about her can be found by clicking here.
