Children's Author Speaks To Elementary Students In Pelham PELHAM, N.Y. -- Elementary school students in Pelham learned about the "messy process" of writing this past week from an author brought to the district by a Pelham Education Foundation grant.According to the school district, Kate Klise, a children's author who completes many of her books with illustrator M. Sarah Klise, her sister, spoke to the children about her work before leading the students in a read-aloud session.
