Closter Eagle Scout Refurbishes Memorial In Mollicone Park
CLOSTER, N.J. – A rededication ceremony for the memorial to Lt. Donald A. Mollicone, a borough resident who died in Vietnam, is scheduled for noon on May 29.
Located in Mollicone Park, the memorial was recently refurbished by Jason Lee, 17, who completed the project, in part, to become an Eagle Scout, according to a statement announcing the rededication.

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. – It’ll be fun for the kids, a great way for dad to spend his Father’s Day and will raise money for a good cause, according to event organizers.
The inaugural Have Fun Fitness Kids Fun Race is a non-competitive day to encourage a healthy lifestyle in children, said Matt Fisher, owner of Have Fun Fitness.
Fisher’s business, which is co-sponsoring the event along with the town of Mount Pleasant, runs through the CrossFit Immortal gym in Pleasantville and works specifically with children ages 5-14.

ARMONK, N.Y. -- The Armonk Lions Club has scheduled four days of carnival fun to benefit its local charity efforts.The Fol-De-Rol, an annual event hosted by the Lions, is scheduled for Thursday, June 9 - Sunday, June 12 at Wampus Brook Park, according to organizers.
Now in its 42nd year, the festival is to feature rides, food, raffles, pig races, live music and vendors offering jewelry, crafts, clothing, house decor and more.

Woman Accused Of Assault Leads Stony Point Police Blotter
STONY POINT, N.Y. – Stony Point police made several arrests in May, accusing six people of minor traffic and drug crimes and one of misdemeanor assault.
Dania Ruiz, 29, of 2710 Morris Ave., Bronx, was arrested May 5 after surrendering to authorities on an arrest warrant charging her with misdemeanor counts of third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief, according to police.
