Charles Ellis, 56, Of Suffern
SUFFERN, N.Y. – Charles Ellis of Suffern died Thursday, May 19. He was 56.
Ellis was born in Spring Valley on Feb. 2, 1960, to Jay and Mary Ellis. He graduated from Nanuet High School and enlisted in the Navy.
He served on the USS Bainbridge in the Pacific and later worked for Pfizer as a steam operator in the company's electric plant.
Ellis was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Christopher. He is is survived by his wife, Rosita; his sister, Diane Ellis-Sebastian, and her two children; his aunt, Gladys Grindle and her two children; and his goddaughter, Nicole Grindle.

Albert P. Helmes, 66, Of Fairfield
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Albert P. Helmes, of Fairfield, died on Friday, May 20. He was 66.
Helmes was born in Queens, N.Y., to Albert and Frances Helmes, receiving an associates degree from St. Francis University and retiring from IBM after 25 years of service.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother Michael, and is survived by his wife Lori, two sons, Devin of Manhattan and Jesse of Fairfield, and two sisters, Harriett of Queens and Maureen Wiegelmann of North Carolina.

Louise V. Sabia, 90, Of Stamford
STAMFORD, Conn. – Louise V. Sabia, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died on May 20 at The Villa at Stamford. She was 90.
Sabia was born on June 15, 1925 to Joseph and Carmella Rosa Gatti, graduating from Stamford High School.
She was a longtime member of the Hubbard Heights Women’s Golf Association and Sacred Heart Church.
