She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Plainville Man Charged With Southington Gas Station For Second Time A Connecticut man was charged with robbery after allegedly entering a Fleet gas station and demanding money from the clerk eight years after he robbed the same store, police said.  Hartford County resident Gregory West, age 40, of Plainville, was charged on Monday, April 22, for the incident that took place around 10 p.m., April 21, in Southington. 6-Year-Old Airlifted Following Town Of Newburgh Crash A 6-year-old boy was airlifted to a hospital with severe lacerations following a crash on I-87 in the Hudson Valley. Monir Uddin, of Brooklyn, New York, turned himself in to Connecticut State Police on Saturday, April 20, for the incident on Saturday, Jan. 13, in Litchfield at the Citgo gas station at 199 West Street.
