Sutton Girls Basketball Wins Div. 3 Over Hopedale

SUTTON, Mass. - The Sutton High School girls basketball team defeated Hopedale 44-34 on Saturday night at Fitchburg State to win the Division 3 final.

The Suzies (20-4) were led by Keri Doldoorian who topped all scorers with 22 points including 9 of 11 from the free throw line. Amy Haven also added 9 points for the Suzies. Lyndsey Bishop and Anna Siefring each scored 12 points for the Hopedale.

With the win, Sutton will play in a state semifinal at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday at the MassMutual Center in Springfield against Sabis.
