MILLBURY, Mass. - The crowds were back in Foxborough this morning as the NFL season got underway as the New England Patriots started their 2011 training camp with a bang. With 73 players in attendance, a few were still unsigned including many of their 2011 draft picks along with a few others who are still recovering from off-season injuries.

The practice was little more than a walk-through for the players, with no one in pads and the players just practicing in shorts and shirts.

But the big new of the day was the Patriots acquisition of big defensive lineman Albert Haynseworth from the Washington Redskins for a 2013 5th round draft pick. Haynseworth wore out his welcome quickly in Washington and comes with plenty of baggage however, given that the team gave up so little for him, its a very low risk/high reward trade.

The Patriots biggest weakness was opponents third down passing and specifically their woeful pass rush. If Haynseworth comes to play, he along with now healthy Ty Warren flanking big nose tackle Vince Wilfork will give the Patriots, the stout front that they covet and will alleviate many of their pass rush problems.

So how do you think the Patriots will do this season? Take a minute and take our poll.

What are your thoughts? Chime in we'd like to hear your opinion.

On a more local note Millbury High Football starts on August 22, first game : Millbury 9/9 vs. Assabet @ home (first scrimmage on 8/27 vs. Tantasqua)
