Millbury Loses To Prouty, 57-47, For 9th Straight Loss

MILLBURY, Mass. — The Millbury Woolies boys basketball team dropped its ninth game in a row Tuesday night, falling to David Prouty, 57-47, at Millbury High School. With the loss, the Woolies dropped to 1-9 on the season and 1-8 in the SWCL.

The Panthers (5-6) were led by Stephen Beahn, who scored 16 points, including 8 points in the pivotal third quarter, and Brendan Coughlin, who scored 11.

The Woolies were once again led by Tristan Cano, who led all scorers with 18 points, and Mike Woll, who returned from missing the last game with an ankle injury to score 12. Nicholas Guaragno hauled in 15 rebounds for Millbury to go along with nine points.

The Woolies return to action Friday at 7 p.m. when they host Uxbridge at the Millbury High School gymnasium.
