MILLBURY, Mass. - The High School Football Team will hold a plant sale fundraiser to purchase new equipment and refurbish old equipment in the high school weight room on Saturday, May 12 from 9 a.m. to noon on the Town Common.
With the lack of money in school budget and the extremely high cost of weight room equipment, this fundraiser is the only way to improve the facilities and keep the equipment safe.
The weight room is utilized by all Millbury’s sport teams, gym classes and high school students.
The team will be selling hanging baskets, decorative patio planters and railing planters. Plans will include Ivy Geranium’s, Wave Petunia’s, New Guinea Impatiens, combo baskets and more. Individual flats of flowers will not be sold this year.
The sale will be on the Saturday before Mother’s Day, making it the perfect time to get gifts. Come support the kids and at the same time purchase some quality flowers.
