Millbury Boys Track Beats Northbridge, David Prouty

MILLBURY, Mass. - The Millbury boys varsity track team swept a meet with Northbridge and David Prouty on Wednesday afternoon at Millbury High.

On an afternoon where the weather fluctuated between sun, clouds, wind and rain sprinkles the boys put together two solid efforts beating Northbridge by a score of 91 - 45 and routing David Prouty by a score of 112 - 23.

Millbury had some outstanding efforts from Bobby Boire who won the long jump, javelin and the 100.

Joe Lucier also turned in another outstanding performance winning the triple jump, 100 hurdles and the 200.

The boys team returns to action on Saturday, April 28 at St. Johns Prep for the Boys District Relays. Start time is 2 p.m.
