Little League Parade Hits a Home Run Despite Rain

MILLBURY, Mass. - Millbury Little League opened the 60th annual season on Sunday, April 22 under rainy skies. However, that didn’t dampen the spirits of Little League players as they marched through Millbury Center to Washington Street Field.

A ceremony took place at the home plate immediately following the parade. There was also a full range of concessions available, as well as entertainment.

The players all looked excited for another great season of Millbury Little League baseball and softball to begin.
