MILLBURY, Mass. — Millbury High School's VEX Robotics Team 2865A has once again qualified for the 2013 VEX Robotics World Championships in Anaheim, Calif.
In just its fourth season, the Millbury team under coach Bruce Rawley has qualified for the World Championships three times and is a recipient of the Excellence, Design and Tournament Finalist Awards.
Millbury fought its way through a field of 84 teams from around New England at Saturday's VRC High School Championships at Quinsigimond Community College to win a trip to the finals.
Team members Peter Jenkel, Nickie Machacz, Courtney Diamond and Francis Gallagher have consistently outperformed their opposition and vaulted Millbury into the top ten teams in the region.
The competition Saturday was intense, and the team had to use great skill and strategic prowess to overcome some serious problems.
Team driver Jenkel maneuvered the robot through the qualifying rounds with a failing micro-controller and still managed to win.
Fellow team members Machacz and Diamond even made an emergency run to Millbury High School for a replacement micro-controller just in time for the alliance rounds.
At this point, the Millbury team needs financial support and sponsors. Time and again, team members have proven their skill and dedication in a highly competitive field. They are our future leaders, engineers and designers.

I always plan my vacations in advance, especially when I am planning a family vacation. In this way I find the best holiday deals at the moment. I can find cheap airport tickets, a nice hotel nearby, affordable restaurants. It worth to plan your travel in advance, after all, in this way you can save money. So tell me, where your next vacation will be?
