MILLBURY, Mass. — The residents at the Millbury Senior Center got a treat Tuesday morning as about 50 students from the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades from Assumption School performed a concert of favorite Christmas tunes.

The students were joined by the center’s ‘Sing-A-Long’ singers who meet every Tuesday at 11 a.m. to entertain the crowd. The students had been practicing for quite a while, and their performance was well received by the seniors.

Senior Center Director Judy O’Connor was surprised and thrilled with the turnout and the performance. “Wow, we never expected so many of the kids to be here,” she said. “Aren’t they wonderful, they sing so nice."
