MILLBURY, Mass. — Author Sean Glennon will be at the Barnes & Noble in Millbury Saturday, Dec. 8, to sign copies of his new book, in which he argues that Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback ever.

The signing takes place from 1 to 3 p.m. in the bookstore at the Shoppes of Blackstone Valley.

Glennon’s “Tom Brady vs. The NFL: The Case For Football’s Greatest Quarterback” is a great gift idea for an NFL fan or die-hard Patriot follower. Last month, I was asked by Glennon’s publisher to review the book for a football website that covers the Patriots. Some of the excerpts are below:

“Perhaps the greatest thing about this book is that Glennon puts out his beliefs that Brady is the best quarterback ever to play the game. And then backs them up with facts. But the manner in which he does so is not to insult or belittle the many great quarterbacks that have come before Brady. No talk about modeling or marrying a supermodel, or his hair. If you’re looking for the TMZ version of Brady, this one isn’t for you, but if you want to talk about and read about football this book will be manna from heaven.”

“The book is a fantastic read; I received it and couldn’t put it down until it was done in the wee hours of the morning. It is a must read not only for die-hard Patriots fans but fans of the NFL as well. Glennon makes some very compelling arguments for Brady as the best QB ever to lace them up.”

Glennon, who lives in Florence, Mass, has authored four books and is a freelance journalist whose work has appeared in such publications as The Boston Globe, Boston Phoenix, The Hartford Courant, The Journal News, The Valley Advocate, Salon and Details. In addition to sports, Glennon has written about books, sequential art, television and pop culture.

Sean Glennon? You mean Captain Obvious? Sure Tom's the greatest quarterback, everyone knows that, but it's the TMZ stuff that makes him interesting. Starting with the baby goat photo shoot for GQ, his relationship with Tara Reid, his relationship and son with Bridget Moynahan, marrying Supermodel Gisele Bundchen, always seen walking her dogs Lua and Vida, the condo in Boston, the apartment in NYC, the private beach in Costa Rica, the 20 million $$ LA mansion, the environmentalism, her product lines, her helicopter lessons, his thinning hair, his unusually long hair, the UGGS Sponsorship, his new brother-in-law Kevin Youkilis, winning Superbowls, losing Superbowls, drafted as a catcher by the Montreal Expos, (imagine if that had worked out) these and many more things add up to why Tom Brady is “The Most Interesting Man In The World” No, wait, that’s a different guy.
