MILLBURY, Mass. – Mary Rose Paladino Baker of Millbury died Jan. 23 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, surrounded by family. She was 96.
Baker worked as a dressmaker for various manufacturers for 45 years. She was married to Charles F. Baker. She enjoyed the beach, shopping, day trips, traveling, watching TV and cooking. She most enjoyed spending time with her family.
Her husband died in 1982.
Baker is survived by four children, Margaret Mary (Richard) Dupuis, of Millbury, Charles F. (Shirley) Baker Jr., of Florida, Maureen A. Baker, of Millbury, and Patricia Ann (John) Watters, with whom she lived; a brother, Vincent Paladino, of Dennis, Mass.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Salavtore and Margaret Fannelli Paladino; and nine siblings, Vincent, Francis A., Francis, Dorothy, George, Louise, Walter, Lorretta and Rose.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Monday at St. Brigid Church in Millbury. Mulhane Funeral Home handled arrangements.
