MILLBURY, Mass. - Joyce G. (Goude) Cofsky, 90, died peacefully Thursday, April 5, 2012 after a well lived life. Her husband Edmund R. Cofsky died in 1992.
She leaves two sons, Roger D. Cofsky and Steven H. Cofsky and his wife, Judith all of Millbury; two grandchildren, James Cofsky and Marie King as well as four great grandchildren.
Joyce was born in Northampton, England to Walter and Florence (Underwood) Goude and was sister to Bill and Derek Goude.
Joyce was a very capable woman willing to tackle anything that came her way. She had a passion for ballroom dancing, gardening and reading. Joyce loved to reminisce about her years working to fuel the aircraft for the RAF during WWII. No matter what life had to offer, Joyce grabbed hold and accepted it with a smile.
We would like to thank the staff at the Lutheran Home in Worcester and especially those at the Summit Elder Service Plan for all their support in ensuring the highest quality of life for Joyce.
