NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. – A “Meet and Greet Spaghetti Dinner’’ will be held at the Northbridge American Legion – Oliver Ashton Post 343, 198 Church Ave., Northbridge, on Friday, April 27 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The event is an opportunity to meet Sen. Richard T. Moore (D-Uxbridge), Sen. Michael O. Moore (D-Millbury), Selectman Charles Ampagoomian, Selectman James Marzec and Board of Selectmen candidate Joseph Montecalvo.

I see your point now. I believe 2 selectmen are opposed to the project (Mssrs. Ampagoomian and Nolan, I believe) but they voted to put it on the warrant for TM. (The right thing to do.)
Even if the Selectmen opposed it, it could still get on the warrant by petition.
I do not know what the menu is at the dinner, other than spaghetti, but I'd bet that the bar will be open. As I understand, the Legion needs all the revenue it can get.
Who cares what his position is on the field? It's up to the voters.
