MILLBURY, Mass. - A small army of plow drivers took to the streets Friday and worked throughout the weekend to keep the roads in Millbury clear.
In the aftermath of the snowstorm, which dropped 2 feet on the region, roads remain narrow on many streets and some towns, including Northbridge, have called off school to allow more time to clear the streets.

They did as good of a job as could be expected. That was a lot of snow and they did fantastic job staying on top of it. But I really think the town should have made sure at least the vital sidewalks around the schools were done before sending the kids back.
Millbury did a fantastic job of clearing the roads. When I left home on Sunday, the roads were down to the pavement and dry. On Sunday I traveled to Wellesley and their roads were miserable. The comparison was dramatic!
They did a great job - now to have them go around like they have before and remove the high piles on the street corners so it's safer to pull out. Keep up the good work!
