Mill Church Christmas Special: 7 p.m. Mill Church Café, 45 River St., Millbury. Directed by Paul and Karen L'esperance, it will be a joyous evening of diverse talent.

Polar Express Story Time: 7 p.m. Chris Van Allsburg’s classic “The Polar Express,” at Barnes & Noble, The Shoppes at Blackstone Valley, 70 Worcester-Providence Turnpike, Millbury.

December Charity Food Drive and DJ Skate: 2:10 to 4 p.m. Horgan Arena, 400 Oxford St. $5 admission and $5 skate rentals. Customers who donate two (2) or more non-perishable food items receive a free public skate admission pass for a future visit to the rink. A live, ice-side DJ will be taking requests and playing today's hottest hits. Come out and support a great cause and have fun this holiday season.
