Mr. Kim Webster To Perform At Millbury Chain Of Lights

MILLBURY, Mass.,— Mr. Kim Webster, a local, award-winning children’s musician and puppeteer, will appear in a special performance at the Millbury Savings Bank during Millbury’s Chain of Lights celebration on Dec. 2.

Webster’s performances feature friendly puppets like “Ted Bear,” plus interactive sing-alongs including everyone’s favorite, “The Popcorn Song.”  Performances will be held at 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the bank’s main office lobby located at 109 Elm St.

In addition to the concerts, from 12 to 4 p.m. residents will be treated to a host of free activities including crafts for the kids, fresh-popped popcorn, giveaways, raffles, and more.

Based on his first CD, "Musical Child," featuring 20 original songs he wrote, arranged, and performed, Webster won the 2004 Children's Music Web Best New Artist Award. His second CD, "Children of the Sea," was released in 2005 and his third, "HUMM," was released in 2008.

Webster is a faculty member of the Grafton-based non-profit music organization, Apple Tree Arts, and he contributes to their early childhood music outreach programs. He is a certified member of the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association (ECMMA).
