UXBRIDGE, Mass. -- The sweet tradition of maple sugaring continues on the first weekend in March at Blackstone River and Canal Heritage State Park, 287 Oak St., Uxbridge.
Learn how maple syrup is made as park staff and volunteers at River Bend Farm take you though the art and science of tapping maple trees from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 2-3.
The program is free and all ages are welcome.
Free tours will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Tours include both indoor and
outdoor elements. Participants are asked to dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear for a short walk.
