MILLBURY, Mass. — The Asa Waters Mansion is hosting a historical reenactment and dinner in February to honor the 100th birthday of Gen. George Washington.

The grand celebration will be Saturday, Feb. 23.  Waters, portrayed by Interpreter Patricia Perry, is planning a grand event in honor of the first president and war hero.

Executive Chef Geoff Kelly from the establishment of Sir Loin’s Catering of North Grafton will present an opulent menu featuring his Carved Steamship Roast Beef and Sautéed Chicken Picatta – served with salad and rolls, grilled vegetables, sumptuous desserts, tea and coffee.

A donation of $40 per caller is appreciated (to benefit Waters’ favorite charity). A selection of ales, beers including Samuel Adams, and wines will be available for an additional tariff beginning at 6 p.m. Dinner seating is at 7 p.m.

The evening is sponsored by The Friends of the Asa Waters.
